Now we're off to the Foodcourt...
(Sorry for the delay, an online and PS2 game entitled Turbo Sub and Harvest Moon: The Innocent Life caught me on their web, I just got out a while ago *grins*, and I'll let them get me again in a matter of minutes, so, I have to make this a quick post *eyes covered in mirth*.)
The foodcourt can be found on the lower ground floor of the mall, I wasn't able to jot down all the establishments there but I can list down the names of those that I remember -
- Lot's A Pizza
- Buko (article to follow, I have horrendous photos, got to do a routine dessert check up again *wink*)
- Pinoy Toppings
- Kamay Kainan
Sizzling Plate is my all-time favorite FOODCOURT food choice, when I learned of this place, I started my rendezvous with their steaks and I never stop ever since. The meat, java rice and side dish servings might have gotten smaller, their utensils might have gotten old and worn, and the name might not be as famous as it was but for me, it is still the same old, skin-searing Sizzling Plate *chuckles*.
Photo above is a Pork Steak priced at 95php, the dish was served with two slabs of pork, a cup of java rice, a wee bit of corn, carrots and peas (side dish) and then, it was abundantly drizzled with gravy (the more the yummier).
Photo above is a Porterhouse Steak priced at 170php, the meat was smaller than I am accustomed to and, unfortunately, the rice served with this order looks more like a mashed potato than a java rice, it was so mushy it can pass as a porridge.
Photo above is a Pork Chop meal priced at 85php, served as usual, tasted as usual. I am a woman of a few words *lol*.
Photo above is a Mushroom Soup, it won't win the best soup award or get any raves and hoorays but for its 20php price tag, what more can you ask for, I'll even go as far as saying that it was good.
What is the best part in eating at Sizzling Plate? My personal favorite is that feeling of numbness in the tip of my tounge whenever I mistakenly gobble my order without letting it cool for a while, I just love that feeling. How about you?
