We chanced upon this fresh-produced shops on our way to the flea market, oh well, it was a welcomed and well-liked diversion. Frankly speaking, we kinda got lost and these colorful veggies and fruits revived our dampening spirits, we asked for directions, bought some strawberries and marvel at the vibrant colors of freshly-harvested crops.
This is the Avi Market, Yaffa, here you can find an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables at a very cheap price. You can, either, go here personally, choose and buy everything that you want or you can call them and place an order and they will deliver it to your doorsteps free of charge (deliveries out of the country not included *smiles*).
Taken inside one of the store, here you can find different varieties of veggies, I remember that on my first year in Israel, I bought a kilo of cucumber for 2nis (24php) only, now the price has doubled, but, I think, the products' worth their price tag.
Rows of fresh and sweet fruits like kiwis, peaches, pears, nectarines, green, red and yellow apples, grapes, and loquat.
On the picture is my sister, this was taken while she was buying strawberries, a pack cost 9.50nis (114php). We finished the whole pack, even, before we got home, it was so sweet and juicy.
Rows of fresh and nutritious vegetables such as carrots, zucchinis, eggplants, and red bell peppers.
I really love artichoke buds, that's why I took an almost close-up shot of it *lol*.
This is the chiller section, vegetables that needs to be kept in a colder environment can be found here.
Okay now, let's go to market!
